New Faculty Luncheons

Sponsored every other month, this is a relaxed 45 minute luncheon meeting for faculty who have joined in the last two years. Faculty have a chance to get acquainted with one another and to hear a brief presentation on a topic to help them get started here at UNM.

Research Club

Research Club is a informal monthly meeting of clinician-educators with little or no previous research experience, to gather and discuss each other's research projects. For more information and a schedule contact Monica Eshner, or 272-8287.

On-line Faculty Activity Database (FAD)

In 2012, the Department developed and implemented an Internet-based reporting system whereby Department faculty could record their educational, research mentorship, and community outreach activities. This system has greatly facilitated the Department in its efforts to compensate Divisions for educational activity of their faculty and to provide positive economic incentives for medical student education and research mentorship. This system also transfers data electronically to the School of Medicine Faculty Activity Database (FAD). For more information or assistance, contact Erica Brown, or 272-4499.
