East by Southwest, 2nd Annual Update in Nephrology

East by Southwest 2nd Annual Nephrology Conference

The Nephrology Division at the University of New Mexico and the Renal-Electrolyte Division at the University of Pittsburgh are organizing a combined CME program.  This conference is intended for nephrologists, primary care physicians, internal medicine physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nephrology fellows, residents in internal medicine and other health care providers.

The program will give an update in nephrology covering recent advances in the areas such as diagnosis and treatment of problems in the areas of fluid and electrolyte disorders, pathophysiology and treatment innovations of glomerular diseases, chronic kidney disease, dialysis and kidney transplantation.

Nationally and internationally recognized speakers from both the University of New Mexico and the University of Pittsburgh as well as two guest speakers, one from the University of Pennsylvania and one from New York University will participate in this program.
