The Division of General Internal Medicine at The University of New Mexico is dedicated to the compassionate care of our patients, as well as the nurturing of a learning environment for our students and residents in training.

Our scholarly work includes educational and research activities in Integrative Medicine, Health Equity, and Health Services research.

Our Primary Care program is actively engaged in developing highly innovative models of delivery consistent with Patient Centered Medical Home principles.

General Internal Medicine Fund

Support our fundraising goals now, and for the future. Our goals include creating easier access to care for patients in need, refugee primary care, mobility in primary care, research, essential equipment and training.

Geriatrics General Fund

The Section of Geriatric Medicine at the University of New Mexico is dedicated to providing excellent clinical care to New Mexico’s aging population.  Our geriatric providers offer compassionate care to patients in many different settings, including outpatient, inpatient, nursing home, home care and palliative care. Learn more about how you can support the Geriatric Section at The University of New Mexico.
